AUDITIONS/SUBMISSIONS

OUR TOWN by Thorton Wilder Auditions—June 5

Clear Space Productions, a non-profit, professional Theatre Company and Arts Education organization, will hold Auditions for its fall production of Thornton Wilder’s OUR TOWN on Saturday, June 5, at 10 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Savior on Bay Vista Road in Rehoboth Beach. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons and will begin on August 22.  Performances begin on Thursday, September 30.

All roles are open and cast members of all ages are needed. Actors should arrive promptly at All Saints at 10:00 a.m. with a memorized, 60-second dramatic monologue by a well-known playwright of the 20th Century (Hellmann, Williams, Miller).  Successful auditions will include clear diction, excellent vocal projection and a commitment to character development. For additional questions regarding auditions, please contact Community Relations Director, Dana Peragallo, at 302.644.3810 or dana@ClearSpaceProductions.org.

PAID POSITIONS

Technical Director/Stage Manager Needed—Full time

The Clear Space Theatre Company.  Non-profit theatre company and arts institute (9-show season), located on the ocean in Lewes, Delaware, seeks a full-time Production Designer beginning September 1, 2010.  The current position will handle all aspects of production design (lighting, sound, set/props) and act as stage manager for performances.  The applicant will hold a B.A. or B.F.A. in theatre, be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, be a self-starter and can see the big picture.  Please send a cover letter and resume or C.V. to Executive Director, Ken Skrzesz at kskrzesz@clearspaceproductions.org.

Many volunteers are needed to work in the Encore Thrift Shop where the atmosphere is creative and fun. This also presents a great opportunity for students to earn their service hours.
