OUTREACH PROGRAM

The purpose of the Clear Space Outreach Program is to offer arts experiences to residents throughout the state of Delaware who may or may not attend Clear Space activities in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area. Event coordinators of any group may contract a performance by any of the following Clear Space entities:

An American Songbook

Clear Space Artistic Director, Doug Yetter, and Executive Director, Ken Skrzesz, have performed An American Songbook concerts for many years throughout the eastern seaboard. The popularity of the concert is due to the musicianship and communicative skills of the performers aligned with the extraordinary wealth of repertoire of show and popular music created in America in the Twentieth Century.  Audiences hear, sometimes for the first time, this music presented with as much energy dedicated to the dramatic structure of each song as to the music itself.  A lecture-demonstration version of An American Songbook is also included in the Speaker’s Bureau Series of the Delaware Humanities Forum.

Clear Space Chorus

Under the direction of Clear Space Artistic Director Doug Yetter, and accompanied by pianist Melanie Bradley, the Clear Space Chorus is a choir of mixed-voices, which presents concerts ranging from 30 to 60-minutes in length.  The repertoire of the chorus primarily focuses upon the rich arrangements of popular music of the twentieth Century.

Broadway Bound on Tour

A select group of talented children take to the stage in a Broadway Bound on Tour performance, bringing to life 100 years of musical theatre repertoire. Each musical number is fully-staged by choreographer, and Clear Space Artistic Director, Ken Skrzesz. All performances, 30 to 60-minutes in length are accompanied by Doug Yetter on piano.

For all of the above, performance times and locations may be determined by contacting info@clearspaceproductions.org.

Performance fees are determined through the booking arrangement.
