The first step toward creating family events at the Baycenter at Ruddertowne, is a musical revue, created by Clear Space Artistic Director, Doug Yetter, 100 YEARS OF BROADWAY, which will be performed every Wednesday night, beginning June 4 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets, available at the door only, are kept at the very affordable price of $10 for adults and $5 for children. The fast-paced, one-hour revue features outstanding performances by select members of the Clear Space Theatre Company. Clear Space Productions will be closing its record-breaking 2007-2008 theatre season with a brand-new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classical musical,
SOUTH PACIFIC, featuring some of the best-known and best-loved show tunes of all time including “Some Enchanted Evening,” “There’s Nothing Like a Dame,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” “Honey Bun,” “This Nearly was Mine,” and “Younger than Springtime.”
The Clear Space production of SOUTH PACIFIC stars Erin Williams and Eugene Galvin in the roles of Ensign Nellie Forbush and the French planter Emile DeBecque, the star-crossed lovers who serve as the focus of the wartime romance. Other cast members include Jerry Birl as Luther Billis, Dana Peragallo as Bloody Mary, and Terrence Sullivan as Lt. Cable who was last seen with Clear Space as Curly in OKLAHOMA. Director, Ken Skrzesz, and Musical Director, Doug Yetter, are hard at work with the 16-person cast with opening night just around the corner.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND
Ken Skrzesz, Executive Director of Clear Space Productions, was recently honored by one of his alma maters, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he received his MFA in Dance Composition with the 2008 Ethel Martus Lawther Alumni Award for excellence in the arts and his entrepreneurial endeavors. Mr. Skrzesz's significant national and international accomplishments as a choreographer, director, and performer as well as his work as an educator and founder/director of several successful non-profit organizations were recognized in the ceremony which took place in May. Ken has directed, choreographed, and taught movement and acting internationally, including work in plays, musicals, and opera.
