SUMMER SHOW, SOUTH PACIFIC, APPROACHING FAST

Clear Space Productions will be closing its record-breaking 2007-2008 theatre season with a brand-new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classical musical, SOUTH PACIFIC, featuring some of the best-known and best-loved show tunes of all time – including “Some Enchanted Evening,” “There’s Nothing Like a Dame,” “I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair,” “Honey Bun,” “This Nearly was Mine,” and “Younger than Springtime.”

The Clear Space production of SOUTH PACIFIC stars Erin Williams and Eugene Galvin in the roles of Ensign Nellie Forbush and the French planter Emile DeBecque, the star-crossed lovers who serve as the focus of the wartime romance.  Other cast members include Jerry Birl as Luther Billis, Dana Peragallo as Bloody Mary, and Terrence Sullivan as Lt. Cable who was last seen with Clear Space as Curly in OKLAHOMA. Director, Ken Skrzesz, and Musical Director, Doug Yetter, are hard at work with the 16-person cast with opening night just around the corner.

The show will debut at the Little Theatre/Cape Henlopen High in Lewes; travel to Fenwick Island and Ocean View for four, free outdoor performances; and then close in Dover at the Schwartz Center. For a complete schedule of performances visit: www.ClearSpaceProductions.org

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We need a volunteer or volunteers to assist with postcard delivery in Lewes / Rehoboth for all shows. Postcards are distributed to the Rehoboth Beach Library, Chamber of Commerce, and Rehoboth Art League and in Lewes to the Lewes Library, Chamber of Commerce, and Cape May Ferry Terminal.  It’s an easy job, but one we’d like to remove from our overworked office staff!  Please contact Dana Peragallo at dana@ClearSpaceProductions.org or call 644.3810.
