BROADWAY VOICES
Join Broadway star Deidre Goodwin as she presents her one-woman show Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 or Sunday, June 1 at 3:00 in the Little Theatre of Cape Henlopen High. Having appeared in shows such as “Chicago (opposite Melanie Griffith),” “Nine (with Antonio Bandaras and Chita Rivera),” “Dreamgirls,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Smoky Joe’s Café,” and currently starring in the revival of “A Chorus Line,” Ms. Goodwin presents songs and stories highlighting her fabulous career from performing on a Mississippi Showboat to starring on Broadway! Prior to the Sunday matinee audience members have the option to enjoy a fantastic brunch at Fish On! in Lewes. ARTS INSTITUTE PERFORMANCES
Our 2008 performing arts festival is Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4. All the students in our Broadway Bound program will perform Saturday, May 3 at 6:00, tickets are $5. The Clear Space Chorus presents “A Grand Night for Singing! The Music of Hollywood” on Sunday, May 4 at 3:00 in the Little Theatre of Cape Henlopen High. The Chorus will appear in an encore presentation of the concert on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 at the Mariner’s Bethel UMC in Ocean View (81 Central Ave). Chorus tickets are $15 and available for purchase online or through the box office at 644.3810.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HONORED
Clear Space Executive Director, Ken Skrzesz, will be honored as a Distinguished Alumni on Saturday, May 3 at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro where he received his MFA. Ken is the recipient of 2008 Ethel Martus Lawther Alumni Award and was selected by unanimous vote. He had been previously honored as a Distinguished Alumni from Towson University in Maryland where he did his undergraduate work. Clear Space congratulates you, Ken!
